Life Cycle of Plants

Do plants have life cycles? Yes, they do! Click here to view an interactive Plant Cycle session.

All plants begin with a seed. The seed then needs plenty of light and water to sprout. This sprout is called a seedling. With more light and water the seedling then turns into a mature plant. This mature plant will then form a flower.

Life Cycle of Animals

Animals have life cycles too!m their mother or from an egg. After birth the animal is young. Almost like a child, like you! Then once the child grows they become an adult.

Animals are either born from their mothers or hatched from eggs. They then grow up, just like you and me!
